Wow. Has it been almost a year since I’ve posted? My how time does fly. A lot has happened this year. We moved again. We have a whole new staff at the office. I stopped doing the IT for the city. The economy still stinks. Business is doing OK even with the tough economy. The kids are getting older. They are back in school. Ashley is in 2nd grade and Cadie in 1st. It is strange because they are now getting into an age that I rememer.

Kahlil is back working part time for us. I’m glad to give him the job. He is a good kid. I have a new guy working full time since Bud took the job in Santa Rosa. The new guy is Rich and he just moved into the area from Buffalo, NY. He us an excellent tech and I don’t have to show him things more then once. The customers like him and he is getting the job done.

Well maybe I’ll post more soon maybe it will take another year. Only time will tell.

So we took Ashley to see Where The Wild Things Are. She loved the movie and already wants us to buy it on DVD. We didn’t take Cadance because we thought it would scare her. Even though they are only 9 months apart Ashley is definitely more mature. I enjoyed the film and felt it stuck pretty close to the book (and since it’s a short book they had to add some filler).

We upgraded Evan to a firetruck bed. He likes to play in it but strangely doesn’t want to sleep in it. Dang kids.

Well I’m not sure about the family guy spin off. I would rather of seen a Quagmire show. Oh well, we’ll give it a couple of episodes and see how it goes.

We took the kids to the Mendocino county fair in Booneville. Another expensive outing. Let’s break it down:
Parking: $5
Admission: $14
Hot Dogs: $7.50
French Fries: $11
Drinks: $14
Carnival ride (One for each kid): $10

Childhood memories: Priceless
